The Digital Leaders Programme is a Civic Agenda initiative to empower influential leaders working at the very highest levels in Government, Industry and NGOs to deliver transparent and citizen centric digital services in a new age of Digital Government. It is an opportunity for organisations in every sector to be better placed to deliver more and better for less.
Digital Leaders is a free to attend invitation-only programme that, since its launch at the House of Commons in 2010, has explored the topic of digital Government and the role technology can play in realising social and economic change and in making Government more transparent to citizens.
Hosted in Whitehall the programme provides a trusted environment for over 150 top decision makers to build a network, learn and be inspired by global-thought leaders, industry experts, and digital Government specialists on the latest digital policy, vision and cross-sector best practice.
Speakers have included Sonal Shah, former head of Social Innovation at the White House; Mike Bracken, Head of Digital Delivery for HM Government; Mark Howe, Head of Marketing, Google UK; and Rayid Ghani, Obama’s Chief Scientist for the Obama for America 2012 election campaign.
Each year there is a varied programme including briefings, masterclasses, an awards dinner, and an annual lecture in Parliament.
